BAN MEATA - HOME FOR HIV/AIDS CHILDREN

KHON Kaen

LOVE MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE AND HEART OF A CHILD

THE NAME "BAN MEATA" LITERALLY MEANS:"A MERCY FILLED HOUSE OR VILLAGE"

Dtois Story

Dtoi – Healed of the HIV+ Virus!

Dtoi is a special young man who is excited about his future!

His father had died of AIDS and his Mother rejected him. Bad men tried to train him for a life of crime. The police got him and he was placed in a Government home for troubled youth. A medical test found him to be HIV+.

Ban Meata was asked to take him in 2003. He had several regular check ups.

Then in the year 2006 both of Dtoi’s HIV tests found no trace of the HIV virus. The doctors and nursing staff were amazed but very happy for Dtoi. We give thanks to God for the wonderful miracle of healing.

Mercy International / House of Mercy Foundation is committed to assist and care for children in Thailand with the HIV + virus. Ban Meata Khon Kaen is home to forty HIV+ children and teenagers. They have found provision, protection, support and acceptance in a loving, caring environment. These children now have a hope for a long and healthy future because of this program and the goodness of God.

Ban Meata is located in the heart of Khon Kaen, Thailand’s fourth largest city and one of the country’s worst AIDS affected districts.

Plans have been drawn to extend the premises and make room for the growing number of HIV/AIDS children. With the expanded facilities we plan to give hope and a future to more than double our current number of HIV+ children.

Mercy International / House of Mercy Foundation have been caring for HIV/AIDS children since December 1998. Eacy day we pray health, wholeness and healing for all our HIV children.
